Hey BBS... there is a decent resolution copy of the line-up image you have been looking for on this site, here: mafiascene.com/gallery/display...album=19&pos=196
It is the largest copy I have seen, 1000 x 1400px. |

The best picture of a Gangster I've seen is my profile picture. The Dapper Don John Gotti .When I first saw profile of Gotti I knew that was going to be my Profile Pic.

thanks alot Eric for the picture, and thanks LR for the website. yea this is a big version of one that i saw years ago. this is also the version that usually gets shown on tv in docs, but the doc version is a little different in shade of color and sharpness. but yea man, youre right this is the biggest internet version that i have seen. thanks again.

There is one picture on that site of guys in alley from 1905, descreibed as Little Italy pic. I saw same pic once before, at that time it was desribed as Dead Rabbits gang in alley, during Gangs of New York era.

That is a famous Jacob Riis picture of "Bandit's Roost" -- an alley off Mulberry Street (59 Mulberry Street) -- taken in 1888 -- Def not Dead Rabbits era.
The address is no longer there, it was cleared for Columbus Park.

there do seem to be some mistakes on the website. for instance in this link below, it claims that its Buchalter but it doesnt look like Buchalter to me...

ive heard that war or prison can put men through many changes, but i dont think that works on faces...
also below in the link, the picture claims that its Flegenheimer at the morgue...
